I aim to offer a safe and comfortable space for you to explore and navigate current and longstanding difficulties and your inner world, to support you to live a more choiceful and fulfilling life.

About me and my practice
My therapeutic modality is integrative-relational.
This means that I see the relationship between you and me, counsellor and client, as a key component in our work together: our relationship becomes the holder of the therapeutic process through which exploration, insight and change can occur. We will work cooperatively to create a space of mutual trust, in which you can experience both nurture and challenge.
By working 'integratively' I draw upon elements, ideas and ways of understanding your experiences from psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive schools of thought: this supports me to tailor my way of being and supporting you to your presenting needs and preferences.
I strive to make my style of working authentic and client-led. I recognise how the past can have an impact on current wellbeing: as we focus on your present, we will also work together to consider how, through past experiences, you have become the person you are today. If appropriate, I incorporate elements of mindfulness into my practice.

Please get in touch for more information and I will be happy to answer any queries you may have. I am available for a brief telephone call or via email should you have any questions prior to meeting.
I then offer an initial online 60-minutes assessment session, in which we will have the opportunity to explore further what you are experiencing, what you are looking for, and discuss the most appropriate and beneficial next steps for you.
